How to Build a Minimalist Wardrobe

Simple steps to create a minimalist wardrobe with versatile clothing, coherent colors, and more intentional shopping.
Building a minimalist wardrobe starts with an honest review: what you use, what you repeat, and what clothes just take up space.
You don't need to change everything at once. Start with a small base: high-quality t-shirts, a neutral sweater, a light jacket, versatile pants, and practical accessories.
After defining a color palette, three base colors and two accents are enough to create combinations without complicating things. Black, brown, gray, sand, olive work well for an OLC aesthetic.
Every new piece should answer a question: does it complement what I already have? Can it serve for more than one scenario? Will I feel comfortable wearing it many times?
A minimalist wardrobe also needs layers. In Colombia, the weather changes quickly, so a t-shirt, a sweater, and a light jacket can solve more situations than a heavy, inflexible piece of clothing.
The goal is not to have less to prove something. The goal is to have enough for better living: less noise, more comfort, and more intention in each purchase.
